SPERM ISLAND

Sperm Island, a uniquely shaped sandbar off the coast of Jimenez in Misamis Occidental, captivates visitors with its white sands and turquoise waters. Its distinctive form makes it a scenic spot for photography, snorkeling, swimming, and leisurely walks during low tide while enjoying stunning coastal views.

Nazareno Dam – Plaridel

The Century-Old Nazareno Dam, established in 1876 by the Nazareno Gamutan Agricultural Irrigators Association (NGADIA), has been in operation for 140 years. It was the first-ever cooperative in the Philippines and remains one of the best irrigation systems. The dam's construction was led by Nazareno Gamutan, a Boholano who migrated to Plaridel.

Navarre Spain-Inspired Kiosk, Oroquieta City

When Oroquieta became a pueblo and parish in 1887, Recollect Friar Tomas Casado, alongside the townspeople, built what would become the town’s iconic landmark—the Kiosk. Inspired by the kiosks of his homeland in Spain, this historic structure has stood for 133 years as a symbol of Oroquieta’s heritage, serving as a gathering place for public events and a cherished link to the past.
